My family:

I was born 3rd in row to mom Helena and dad Radek. I have an older sister Veronika and brother Radek. Veronika is 12 years old and she goes to first year of Biskup gymnasium (secondary school), my brother Radek is 10 years old and he goes to primary school. He loves to play soccer and I, mom, dad and sister go support him. I love to shout at him “Go, Radek, go...”

My sister Veronika loves aerobics; sometimes she invites us to some shows. Mom and dad love me very much and we do allsorts of outings. I love to go in the woods with them to pick mushrooms. Dad is carrying me in a carrier on his back and when he is cleaning the mushrooms I hold them for him! I also love to swim and ride the roller coaster, I even went on a bobsleigh track. In summer we were at the sea, that was great, sand and seashells everywhere, we build sandcastles and pies…

Mom and dad say that there are many children like me, so they founded Parent’s club with SMA disorder in Smečno by the Kolping family (see www.dumrodin.cz and www.spinalka.cz).

We were there three times already and every time a lot of children and parents came, we had lots of fun there. We help each other, borrow aids and share our experience. I look forward to our next meeting…

Free time:

I love to go swimming with my dad a he even took me to a roller coaster where I liked it a lot. I have a special swim ring in which I sit like a queen and I cannot fall out of it, I like that a lot…

I like to go to English classes to the Helen Doron children school in České Budějovice with mom. In my group there is Agata, Karolína, Dominik and Jakub. We sing songs, draw pictures and I already know 30 words. Sometimes we go to the Mom’s club at the vicarage in České Budějovice suburb with mom. It is always lot of fun, lots of children, moms together with Father Petr read something and we play.

I also have lot of friends, we go to the jungle gyms and sand and mom together with some aunties help me, so I can do almost everything others can. My friend Nicol comes to visit me often and we play family together. We have strollers, dolls, kitchen…

And because I have a super wheelchair since the age of 2 I ride like a devil, so parents or Veronika and Radek have to catch me sometimes… When the weather is nice we go ride the bicycle. I have a special helmet and positioning seat, which I like. Mom always carries a small folding chair along, where I can rest when we stop. It is quite fun.
